Making waves is a monthly peer group designed to improve presentation skills of any level from the absolutely terrified to the capable but needs polish.

Good Presentation skills mean you can start a real wave of information.

Run and mentored by Jeremy Cobb after many years of suffering presentations that should never have been. Jeremy decided to take this particular bull by the horns. Most presenters and speakers never get honest feedback, they get people saving them their feelings and a “well done” or worse clients that don’t buy. 

Making Waves solves this by having a group of up to twelve at a time that allows three members to present for 20 minutes in any format, even a company pitch. This can be as simple as a friendly talk, a quick pitch, a values discussion all the way up to an after dinner talk. Of course we cover the dreaded Power Point.

Afterwards the group gives honest, constructive and guided feedback to assist them to improve that presentation’s style structure and purpose.

Members learn how to improve not just by doing but by simply being in the room and learning to critique others.

Each Month there is a theme such as; Structure, emotion, or camera skills. This way even if you are not presenting, you are still learning to critique and develop your own skills. Of course when it is your turn we get to the nuts and bolts of maybe why you are failing to communicate your message.

Remember, it is better to do two or even three awful presentations in a friendly environment like this before you do the real one in front of your most important contact or potential client!
